Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is one of those rare beach towns that still feels small. Most of the buildings are low-rise, and you can still walk everywhere — to the beach, a café, or one of the local restaurants that’s been there for decades.
It’s one of the older coastal communities in Broward County, and it’s managed to keep its own pace while everything around it has gotten busier. You’ll see people out walking at night, live music on the weekends, and small shops instead of big chains.
It’s a short drive from Fort Lauderdale, but once you’re here, it feels like a different place altogether — quieter, friendlier, and built around the ocean.
